The Piedmont Sports Complex is a multi-purpose facility. The sports complex includes baseball, softball and soccer fields. The complex was built in 1983 and was funded by an Air, Land and Conservation Grant. The complex has a field house complete with offices, rest rooms, umpire dressing room, concession stand and score booths. Two batting cages are located adjacent to the fields. All bleachers on the main four fields are covered with canopies. The Sports complex opens in late February with High school Baseball and Softball and closes in mid November with Soccer and Football. The Piedmont Sports complex is affiliated with Dixie Youth Baseball, Dixie Boys Baseball, Alabama Amateur Softball Association, and Alabama Recreation & Parks Association Soccer. The Piedmont Sports complex also host local, District, and State Tournaments.

The Sports memorial is dedicated to those who played and coached as they lived with honor, fairness, sportsmanship, and with an appreciation for the worth of others.
