Boundary Line Bison

About
Boundary Line Bison Ranch raises grass-fed, pasture-raised American bison on open land in northeast Alabama, along the south edge of the old Cherokee boundary line that gives the ranch its name. The White family has worked this land since the 1960s first with cattle, and with bison since 1998 making it possibly the longest continual bison operation in the state.
The ranch raises pure American bison with no crossbreeding, producing lean, nutrient-dense red meat that's roughly 95% fat-free and USDA processed. Available cuts include steaks, roasts, ground, and jerky, along with bones for broth, hides, skulls, and herbs. They also help other ranchers start their own herds and welcome school, FFA, 4-H, and civic groups out to see the bison up close.
Owned by DJ and Mischa White, Boundary Line is a member of the National Bison Association and Sweet Grown Alabama. Inventory changes with the season, so it's best to call ahead both to check what's on hand and before visiting.
