Sports Complex

Piedmont Sports Complex.

The Piedmont Sports Complex is a multi-purpose facility. The sports complex includes baseball, softball, and soccer fields for all the athletes of Piedmont and visiting teams.

The complex was built in 1983 and was funded by an Air, Land and Conservation Grant. The complex has a field house complete with offices, rest rooms, umpire dressing room, concession stand and score booths. All bleachers on the main four fields are covered with canopies.

Baseball, Softball, & Batting Cages

Two batting cages are located adjacent to the fields. The Sports complex opens in late February with high school baseball and softball and closes in mid-November with soccer and football.

The Piedmont Sports complex is affiliated with Dixie Youth Baseball, Dixie Boys Baseball, and the Alabama Amateur Softball Association. The Piedmont Sports complex also hosts local, district, and state tournaments.

The Sports Memorial.

The Sports memorial at The Piedmont Sports Complex is dedicated to those who played and coached as they lived – with honor, fairness, sportsmanship, and an appreciation for the worth and value of others.
